budget analysis with my clients I have been able to show them how to
save hundreds of dollars and in turn help them set up a plan to
eliminate debt!
In order to be financially successful it is essential to have a good foundational knowledge of finances and understand Income Shifting strategies which are proven to shift money back into your household. One key factor of changing your financial state is changing how you think. This course will address an array of topics from stewardship, barriers, budgeting, debt elimination, credit repair and more from a Biblical perspective.
It will be helpful to have basic Excel knowledge for the budgeting portion, but budgeting can be accomplished either using the CashFlow Strategiest or using pen & paper.
Your Instructor
My name is Tiffany Cogdell. I grew up in Washington, NC and moved to Raleigh, NC where I attended NCSU (Go WolfPack!) and afterwards graduated from AIU Online with a Master's in Education. After 8 years of teaching Elementary & Middle school math at Christian Life Academy, I transitioned to financial aid where I have served for approximately 8 years educating students and parents on financial literacy.
I am a member of myEcon, The Personal Financial Success company, where I received training and now train others on various income shifting strategies that have revolutionized my journey. Correcting the tax withholding, reducing taxes, debt elimination, credit repair, proper insurance coverage, investing, the importance of having a home based business and creating residual income are some of the many topics covered.
I live by Christian principles and emphasize the whole self rather than strictly focusing on finances. The Bible is very detailed about finances and addresses it thousands of times which means that it is essential to understand. I used Biblical principles and financial strategies (on a limited income mind you), along with discipline and sacrifice to change my own life so I can easily relate to clients with lower incomes and those without a plan. I was able to pay off my car in just 23 months, build my credit to have an excellent score, and fund my emergency fund and retirement accounts all by implementing Income Shifting strategies! How exciting!!
